Of course in today’s world Vinyl is an obsolete way of marketing unless you’re a massive music fan and love giving your hard earned pennies to the music industry. Only until last year did they start to pop up again. Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds having the highest sales for 2015 with their new album ‘Chasing Yesterday’. Although before all that even CD’s are old fashioned as the new way for the past decade is downloading your music from the internet.
Everybody downloads music now there isn’t a way of stopping it but for fans of music there is a difference. The sound quality, Vinyl is making a comeback because of this. The sound, the way of the manufacturing of Vinyl brings out a cleaner more soothing sound than download and CD.
Many record shops are open their doors again and selling Vinyl records (CD’s on the side) and one of our favourites is also a coffee shop so what better way to sit down relax and enjoy the beautiful sound from a record. The LP Cafe in Watford, Hertfordshire not only plays these records but also sells them you can find anything there! Old, new its all within a small cafe.
HMV are also selling Vinyl’s,not unknown or smaller artists but artists that have been in the past such as Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin to name a few. For consideration if you love an album that much go ahead and buy it on Vinyl you will notice a difference in the sound quality.
