Knuckledust have been recently announced to play a special 30 year anniversary show at The Underworld in Camden Town on the 20th June 2026 through Roy Dirt Promotions & The Underworld.

First of all 30 years of Knuckledust is nothing short of fucking amazing. With such a stacked line up with Stampin Ground, Grove Street, Born From Pain, 50 Caliber, Mugged Off, Agency & Tempers Fray you’d be silly to miss out on this one.

When I first started getting into Hardcore back in my teen years these guys were about 15 years in. With such a solid back catalogue they became one of my go to’s in the UK scene. Starting out in 1996 and releasing their first release in ’97 entitled London Hardcore, you could say this was the start of the UK Hardcore style, the grit of the London street’s mixed with that hardcore edge which has become a style of it’s own with artists within the LBU taking on a similar model.

Whilst at Revolution Calling in Eindhoven last week (what a festival I might add), Knuckledust got a couple of shout outs from the organisers as the ‘Kings of European Hardcore‘ and even got a huge cheer for their 30th anniversary announcement from the huge crowd.

With that said, the supports look solid and if you don’t know them here’s a little description about them:

Tempers Fray
Hailing from the BN1 in Brighton Tempers Fray have had a solid 2025, supporting TRC at The Dome for their 20th anniversary, being a part of the BN1 x LBU weekender at Daltons in Brighton and hitting up Europe in the autumn. They released their studio album Return To The Earth back in 2023. After chatting to them back in September there might be some new music on the horizon so be sure to catch these guys early!

Agency
Agency are relatively new on the scene but are creating waves across the London scene. They released their debut EP Life Will Kill on Rucktion Records towards the end of August and I can safely say I’m a big fan what they’re doing.

With shows booked out for early next year including Reality Unfolds at New Cross Inn, Supporting Sorcerer (Black Heart, Camden), No Witnesses & Tempers Fray I can safely say these guys are going to be something special in the scene. So make sure you catch them in the next year because I have a feeling they’ll be someone to look out for headlining in the future.

Mugged Off
Mugged Off released their first demo back in December 2021 and further released their first studio album Divide & Rule in October 2022. With members coming from bands such as Extreme Noise Terror, Akercocke, Dripback & Ted Maul they mix british street punk with new york-style hardcore, and you can definitely hear that late 80’s/ early 90’s New York style Hardcore in their arsenal.

50 Caliber
Hailing from the LBU, 50 Caliber are one of the London’s OG’s in the hardcore scene. From the early 2000’s they released their full length Left for Dead and EP’s such as Internal Bleeding & Splitting//Ammunition.

Known for their intense fusion of extreme metal and hardcore punk, often featuring heavy as fuck breakdowns and themes of inner struggles. They don’t play as regular as you would expect, but when they do the place goes off. They recently played the BN1 X LBU event in Brighton this summer as well as the Cut And Run Collective show at Signature Brew. They are due to headline New River Studios on the 20th December so if you want to catch them before this event get at it!

Born From Pain
Starting out in the late 90’s in northern europe Born From Pain were one of the first in Europe to play the crossover style of metal/hardcore. Hailing out of The Netherlands they have always kept the backbone of their sound intact; brutal grooves, murderous, fast riffing and a knack for the most aggressive breakdowns. They never gave in to trends that came and went in heavy music.

Born From Pain grew up in an environment filled with mid-80’s german thrash metal & NY hardcore/crossover amongst other influences. So if you’re into bands like Merauder, All Out War, Obituary, Testament and Agnostic Front then these guys are worth giving a listen to.

Grove Street
From out of Southampton, Grove Street have become one of those bands I always love catching. From seeing them at 2000 Tree’s the past few years and supporting Bane in The Underworld in the summer. Grove street blend elements of hardcore and thrash metal to create a crossover style that is just fun to enjoy.

From their early beginnings of just playing for fun under their original name “Grove Street Families” to building a reputation these past few years as a must-see live artist. In recent years they have supported the likes of Agnostic Front, Sick of It All and GWAR and are currently hitting up Europe with Doomsday.

Stampin’ Ground
I caught Stampin’ Ground last week playing Revolution Calling and what a set they put on; even though it was relatively early in the afternoon everyone got moving. Stampin’ Ground who originate from Cheltenham were also at the forefront of the late 90’s early 2000’s UK hardcore scene. Taking inspriation from the likes of Slayer, Napalm Death and Integrity Stampin Ground play a slower more aggressive mix of metallic hardcore.

Knuckledust
Of course we come to the guys this show is all about.

In their 30 years Knuckledust have given so much to UK/London Hardcore. Pioneers of the UK hardcore style in the mid 90’s and stated as ‘too punk for hardcore, too hardcore for punk‘. They have been influential for many of the bands who are in the hardcore scene today.

Their music is characterized by a strong New York influence with breakneck riffs, intense breakdowns, and powerful singalong choruses but as explained before, having that London street grit.

If you haven’t listened to Knuckledust before (and I’d be surprised if you haven’t) make sure you check out their work, it does not disappoint. 

Knuckledust last released a studio EP in October 2021, hopefully we can look forward to some new tunes frrom them before this anniversary show takes place!

Tickets are flying since they were released so if you’re interested in an all day show for only £20 (plus whatever fee’s are added) you don’t want to miss this insane line up.
