Less Than Zero are bringing another awesome show to the county of Essex. They have recently held shows with Essex boys Splitknuckle headlining and put on a show called Essexmas which featured Toil, Mob Handed and Frail amongst others.
Now they’re hitting Southend again with this sick lineup! On Friday 22nd May at Lamb & Lion in Southend and below you can see who’s going to be there!
From the Capital Metallic Hardcore band Empty Threat open the show for Less Than Zero. They are another sick band that has recently formed from the capital, and are set to bring carnage to the scene! If you haven’t caught them yet they are such a sick act.
I recently caught them at Phoenix Fest, High Wycombe a few weeks back. After speaking with vocalist Zach we’re in for a new heavier Empty Threat which I’m sure you’ll catch a glimpse of that here. (Interview coming soon)

From the South East, Warden join this packed line up with their melodic deathcore style. With the release of their 4 track debut EP ‘The Art of Reanimation‘ released in late January alongside a release show supporting Long Goodbye these guys have had a great year so far!
They are also due to support Crowquill, Tempers Fray and Overpower in the upcoming months.
Now they’re hitting up Essex, so show them what you can do!
Essex’s own beatdown band Immortal Rites are reuniting once again and joining this line up in their local area! It’s been a while but I’m sure they are looking forward to playing this as much as everyone else.
It’s been a couple of years since these guys hit the stage together but I’m sure those who remember in the local area will definitely be ready for this!
Headliners for the show come out of the Reading Hardcore scene, that is of course Detriment!
These guys had a solid year end to 2025 and into 2026 which included playing their hometown through charity event Joshfest. Detriment went out of 2025 with a bang playing Blondies New Years Eve party.
I’m 100% certain we’ll be seeing more new bits from these guys in 2026 and they’re always out for a good time! You don’t want to miss this show.
Less Than Zero are doing amazing shows for their local county of Essex and it is not to be sniffed at. After talking to one of the promoters Connor, we agreed how it is quite difficult for anybody putting shows on just outside of London because it is so easy and there is so much opportunity to put shows on in London but we want to push our local communities! and by the way these guys are smashing it.
Make sure you show these guys some love!
