A few weeks ago United & Strong released their full line up for this years festival taking place at Number 90 Lock in Hackney Wick.
NYHC legends Cro-Mags are by far the main event of the festival with their headline spot! As well as bands such as C4, Fury, The Flex, Combust & Raw Brigade also making their way across the pond.
Some of UKHC’s best up and comers Bullet, Bodybag & Agency are also featured on the festival as well as London legends Ninebar!
We headed down to their pre-sale event back on the 9th May at 33 Manor Place, although trying to get into London was a nightmare with train cancellations and delays…but once we got there it was worth it, with a 7 minute walk from the local underground station.
That day showed me that the UKHC community does what it does best. By providing the space for the pre-sale, United & Strong Fest created a marketplace for the event and a lot of people turned up for it even if they weren’t grabbing tickets.
The marketplace was gifted with those from UKE Coffee (who’s coffee by the way slaps!), Wrongside Merch, Northern Unrest, Hellride Records, Pigsty & Daniel Ronson.
I spoke to quite a few people there that day whether they were being a part of the marketplace or just visiting. Everyone had a friendly face and I brought one of my mates who doesn’t know a thing about this music and even he loved it!
So thank you to all those who made that marketplace possible.
Now with all these amazing bands playing the festival, United & Strong Fest have now shown us their day splits with Cro-Mags headlining the Friday and Fury headling the Saturday event.
