This weekend see’s the return of the German hardcore band Peace Of Mind, who will be visiting the UK to take over some great venues throughout the south of the UK. God do they have a series of great shows in sick locations, you won’t want to miss this!
Peace of Mind released their second album Blood Is The Price back in September 2025, and what an album it is! I remember finding this and thinking holy shit thats hard! With a few features on the album including Risk It, Blossom Decay and Sydney Hardcore band…SPEED.
Peace of Mind will be hitting up London & Birmingham with support from Bristol Crossover Band Overpower and of course they will also be at this Saturday’s awesome day festival at Shredenhams, Bristol…FOE FEST.
Overpower are a crossover band and Bristol locals have been hitting up some great shows this year, most recently supporting Pintglass at the Underworld last week and also Incineration Fest in Camden a month or so back.
They are due to play their hometown this weekend at FOE FEST and I can’t wait to see these guys again this week it’ll be a laugh.
When I last spoke to them at the Rhapsody Records all dayer; they explained also in their interview with us that there is new material on the way so keep your eyes open!
Friday’s (5th June) show at The Blue Monk, London hosted by Cash Pistache features four bands from the FOE FEST line up with a predominently German hardcore ring to it in Peace Of Mind, Defiance, Overpower & Soulprison.

If that isn’t good enough for you! All four of those bands will feature at Bristols FOE FEST this Saturday (6th June) for an absolutely stacked line up with some of the best the UK has to offer. Headlined by none other than UK Crossover band Grove Street and featuring the likes of Tempers Fray, Human Deceit, Not Without Punishment, Jawless, Rad and so much more.
For the first time since it’s inception, FOE FEST will feature a second stage headlined by none other than Peace Of Mind. This year it will be named the ‘Josh Clapham Stage’ after the vocalist of Reading band Petulance who we lost way too soon.
On top of this, Bobby, one of FOE FEST organisers relayed to me that the majority of profits from this years festival will be donated to the mental health charity Mind taking the same ethos as Readings Joshfest!

The organisers have made this festival bigger and bigger each year and it isn’t to be snuffed at.
There has been a lot of effort put into this years festival and the organisers are due some much deserved praise. Especially with getting such a sick venue this year at Shredenhams.

After FOE FEST Peace of Mind and Overpower will be heading up to The Flapper, Birmingham (7th June) in to team up with US grungey hardcore band Excide and Tokyo based post hardcore band Hollow Suns. Promoted by Suprise! Your Dead!
With an early start and early finish it seems a no brainer for a Sunday right? There may also be a few bands to still be announced
