This Friday at New River Studios in London brings the 7th instalment from Presented by LBU and of course its an absolute showcase.
If you were around in the late 2000’s then you’re in for a treat with St Albans hardcore originators Your Demise 04 headlining this show and especially for me brings back solid memories from a band I grew up with locally.
Supporting them for this is none other than Rucktions own Kartel and King Street and Bristol’s Chained Existence.
Fronted by George Noble, Your Demise 04 are a band solidally playing their original material from Ignorance Never Dies, Blood Stays On The Blade and backwards. It’s been a while since they’ve played locally or in and around London since their appearance at Reality Unfolds Fest in New Cross Inn to be exact.
In the past year they have been up to Manchester for Violent Night Fest, over to Hamburg for Sin City Mosh Fest, Cardiff, Sheffield and will soon play Burn It Down Festival in Torquay at the end of summer.
To see them play in a small venue like this is going to be carnage, but don’t just turn up for them, make sure you support the bands going on from doors.
Following their debut EP release Nothin’ But Greed back in September ’25, Chained Existence are a vegan hardcore band based out of Bristol. They’ve previously supported the likes of Ironed Out and Detriment locally in Bristol and are now pushing further out of that local scene into the UK.
With support shows for Negative Frame in Nottingham and are due to play with Stampin Ground in Manchester tomorrow and now this show!
Head down early and trust me you won’t be dissapointed by what you’ll see, these are a solid bunch of lads! If you want to see them locally in Bristol they are also playing at Shredenhams, Bristol this Saturday!
The first of the two London bands is none other than King Street. King Street released their most recent EP Parting Shots through Rucktion Records at the end of January, and they have been full swing ever since with that London Style.
One of the releases I’ve absolutely loved thats come out this year.
They also had their record release show at New River Studios back in February which absolutely hit off! Since this they’ve shot off on some shows across the UK, supported the likes of Ingrown, E-Town Concrete and shot off into Europe with the guys from Ironed Out.
Make sure you give Parting Shots a spin and don’t miss these guys on Friday!
The main support slot is being held by one of the LBU’s best in Kartel and to see the Rucktion band return is fantastic!
Coming back to the game over the past year with a few London shows towards the end of 2025 and most recently up in Leicester supporting Full Contact you’ve got to see the legends they are.
This is one band I absolutely fuckin love within the London scene so it’s great to see them active again!
Tickets are still available through Dice so get yourself down to New River this Friday to catch some heavy shit (including me) that’ll make you want to throw yourself about and feel the pain in your knees the following day! (which I have a wedding to attend to…)
