UK Hardcore is in such an amazing place right now. There are so many bands across the UK that are hitting their stride and making the scene their own and they are definitely bringing it to the forefront of the independent scene.
Even much so that bands are starting to expand out into Europe. Which brings me onto the main topic of this article.
This October see’s UKHC head out to Sin City Mosh Fest Vol IV (4) in Hamburg, Germany. With artists such as TRC, Your Demise 2004 & Splitknuckle performing at Sin City last year and making a name for UK Hardcore, 2026 is another story.
Bands such as Killing Me Softly, Supernova, Crowquill & Bodybag from the UK have been announced in the first wave that will hit up Stellwerk, Hamburg for the next installment of Sin City Mosh Fest.

Brighton evil mosh lords Bodybag released their debut album ‘As It Ferments…‘ back at the start of December and what a chaotic heavy sound it brings. Following this they featured on the line up for the ‘Presented By LBU’ show supporting the likes of 50 Caliber & Prowler at New River Studios just before Christmas.
With such a hard hitting album and 2025 being quite a busy one for them, I’m sure we’re going to see more from these guys in the next year.

Leeds based Crowquill have been nothing other than absolutely phenominal in terms of heading into shows and putting in one hell of a performance. (Seriously these guys are putting in the work to do shows).
I caught these guys back in November when they featured at Joshfest in Reading. Since then they have been hella busy. Recently playing last week at Reality Unfolds Fest at New Cross Inn, and also being confirmed for Lev-Day & New Youth Fest to say a few means that 2026 is going to be just as mad.
I spoke to vocalist Liam recently so make sure you keep your eyes peeled for something coming your way!

London Straight Edge band Supernova have been busy on all sides recently. With some new material in the works hopefully coming this year. They have been a main staple in the London hardcore scene since their introduction in 2024. My first experience of them was before I started this blog when I caught them opening for Bane back last summer and I really enjoyed what I saw and made sure I heard their studio stuff straight away.
I was so stunned to see that the majority of the venue was already packed for the first band. (You know, normally it doesn’t get like that) and I was so pleased for not only the band but the fact that showed me that the scene is thriving.
If their promo which was released back in June 2025 has anything to say to me, it means that they’re not going anywhere anytime soon. If they pop up in your city you will not be dissapointed when you see what they have to offer.

Finally Killing Me Softly. Unfortunately I have not had the priviledge of seeing these fellas live yet (hopefully soon). The Leeds metalcore band I can only describe from my mates words when he caught them supporting Poison The Well last year.
‘It becomes easy to see why Killing Me Softly are seen as one of the UK’s most promising hardcore bands right now’.
‘Killing Me Softly have an ability to produce a brutal delivery with a professional elegance to hold a crowd. Whilst they still carry an arrogance infront of an audience that shound have potentially shown more appreciation.‘
They are one of the many bands I hope to see hit up London and the South in the near future.
Who knows, that may be sooner rather than later.
Listen to their latest release ‘To Forever Fall Through God’s Safety Net‘ and I’ll let you make up your own mind.

For a first wave of a lineup I was extremely pleased with what I saw, including all the other European artists that are on the lineup. I made sure to give each of them a listen.
Sin City Mosh Fest is proving that the DIY space is growing and that you shouldn’t be frightened to set up a show. It has been growing year on year and providing a space for not only German hardcore but european hardcore to make a home.
I’ll be sure to try and make my way over this October.
Tickets for the event are already available and make sure you keep an eye out for more artists and announcements for the festival.
