HARDCORE AT THE CASTLE VOL 1
I’m privileged to announce that in collaboration with Castlefest I have booked my first show.
It’s been a long road to get this going but we’re here now. Since I started Pit Call I have wanted to give UK bands and UK Hardcore a platform not only virtually but also physically. So since the start of the year I’ve been working a way with Castlefest to put on shows in my local area of Herts/Beds.
Joining us on our first show (and I’m so stoked to have them as headline) will be none other than the BN1’s finest Tempers Fray! With support from Empty Threat, Paresthesia & Heel Turn!
Get to know and I hope I will see you there!

London beatdown bandits Empty Threat are opening the show! They are another sick band that has recently formed, and are set to bring carnage to the scene!
I recently caught them at the Hertford Hardcore IV show a few weekends back. After speaking with vocalist Zach we’re in for a new heavier Empty Threat.
Let’s just say, this is something that’s going to hit hard in the pit. Make sure you get their early to hear it!

We are yet to hear about the release of their debut EP but their live performances are emmence! I first caught these guys at Joshfest back in Novemeber and I can only see them making more moves in the future. Up next on the bill are Readings own Paresthesia.
Formed through the Uni in Reading, they have been playing shows over the last couple of years and I was lucky enough to catch their hardcore death metal at Joshfest last year and they do pack a punch.
They pride themselves on having a hardcore sound with no real restraint. With some beat-downy sections and breakdowns, but also incorporating fast hardcore as well.
Catch our interview with them on the site via the link below. As well as their set covered by Dai Tan Films at last years Joshfest!

Out of the EAHC scene comes Norwich hardcore champions Heel Turn! Formed in the mids of 2025 Heel Turn have had a number of shows including Hertford Hardcore III,an EAHC x Essex crossover show and performing in Camden with Smoke Over London.
Heel Turn released their 4 track demo back in December 2025. Lets just say if you love John Cena and hardcore these guys are for you!

Headlining the show is BN1’s finest Tempers Fray. They have been putting in the work this year with a lot of shows for us all to look forward to as well as a few already played. Most recently they have turned up to Last Breath Fest in Southampton with the guys at Betrayed By Life Records and in the run up to this, they have been across the UK in support for NYHC legends Madball.
Not only this tour but they will also feature on festivals such as this years Foefest in Bristol and Burn It Down in Torquay. With new music on the horizon and a stacked bunch of shows they definitely have a year to look forward to!
You can check out their interview via the link below. As well as their set covered by Dai Tan Films from last year in support of TRC at The Dome, London!
This is going to be one crazy night full of chaos and I can’t wait to share it with you all! So come on down and join in the festivities for our first instalment of Hardcore at the Castle in Luton.
I can’t wait to see you all there.
Tickets are available now through Dice.fm via the link below

Until next time, I’ll catch you in the pit!
