Established in the early 1990’s New York Hardcore/Metal scene, Merauder have been one of those bands that mixed their own style of what we would all call hardcore. We all know the NYHC scene has always been full of amazing bands and artists who always bring their own flair and Merauder are just that.

Following a few demos and EP releases from their launch, when they introduced their debut album Master Killer it must of really hit off with their groove metal side being showcased. Giving us an early version of what we would call Crossover. Following Master Killer, Merauder brought out 3 further studio albums in Five Deadly Venoms, Bluetality & God Is I.

After a few different iterations of the band through the 2000’s and 2010’s headed up by frontman Jorge Rosado, Merauder have since revitalised the band since their 30th anniversary of Master Killer in 2025 to bring us more shows.

Now they hit up the UK with a few shows this coming week!

Merauder are one of those bands that I haven’t had the chance to see up until now and one that I have always loved on record. However they are one of those bands that if I didn’t start this blog all that time ago I don’t think I would have dived into the scene as hard as I have. When I started this blog I set out with a couple of goals: to try and bring some light to UKHC, find more DIY shows and also find new bands to listen to myself and Merauder were one of those.

Merauder will be hitting up Wrexham, Manchester, Brighton & London from August 2nd with all bar one show SOLD OUT.

I personally will be hitting up their Brighton show on August 4th where they will be supported by the likes of No Relief, Agency & Offer No Pity at The Hope & Ruin hosted by Burning Water Promo.
