The opening chords of the EP are a marker for what you are about to experience. The dirty gnashing guitars start a rhythmic beat with echoes of Mudvayne, lashings of Royal Blood and possible a sprinkle of the Blackout encouraging you to stay tuned. The tunes will get your head nodding and body swaying but it will not work you into a frenzy. The opening track pounds along nicely before working up to a crescendo with a faster tempo. Black Nevada will find themselves drifting between genres and will appeal to those who cross over between indie and rock. Their name may be Black Nevada, but their future is far from Black.
